ARI, FOR SHORT :)

I’m a Senior Graphic Designer and Design Director with a background in Fine Arts. With more than eight years of experience in the apparel and fashion lifestyle industry, and two additional years freelancing, I’ve learned to create consistently compelling designs in a fast paced environment and to focus on strong storytelling to bring the brand vision to life. 

I joined LIVELY pre-launch as a Graphic Design Intern as the third member of the team. My experience grew as I helped the brand do the same, and I was instrumental in its evolution from intimate apparel to a full-fledged lifestyle brand that offered swimwear, fragrances and loungewear. Over the course of my time on the team, I learned how to conceive and execute high quality deliverables in a fast paced environment with careful attention to detail, and how to be a mentor to my direct reports, the Graphic Design Intern and Junior Graphic Designer.

In my most recent role as Senior Graphic Designer, I was responsible for guiding projects from ideation through to completion and providing thorough, research-driven design recommendations to meet marketing objectives. I oversaw the day to day design flow, providing guidance and constructive feedback for our design team, and collaborated closely with the Creative & Marketing team and cross-functional teams to meet and exceed business goals. 

In my free time, when I’m not adventuring outside or on the couch (in video games) with my husband Aaron and dog daughter Aubrey, I’m expanding my skill set and exploring various design avenues by freelancing for both print and digital media. I’ve created artwork for marketing projects as well as product design, including decks of cards, bespoke illustrations, and custom packaging. My latest hobby is learning the art of hand lettering.

Above all, I care deeply about the quality of my work and am committed to always learning and improving. What truly ignites my passion as a designer is solving the puzzle of creating meaningful and impactful visuals that tell a captivating story.
